110 laws, 30 of them were initiated by the deputies. These are the results of the year of work of the Senate of Kazakhstan. One of the main achievements this year, the parliamentarians called the bill on the abolition of the death penalty in the republic. The senators stressed: during the pandemic, they had to work in an increased mode.
“Laws were adopted aimed at implementing the President's message, overcoming the consequences of the pandemic, and restoring economic growth. The issues of improving the quality of life of the population, protecting human rights, improving the spheres of health care and education have become priorities, ”said Maulen Ashimbaev, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
