In the Nikolaev region, 9-year-old Artur Vasilishin was found dead in the river, who had disappeared the day before. The search for the child lasted all night.
As reported in the press service of the National Police of the Nikolaev region, the tragic incident occurred in the urban-type settlement Krivoye Ozero.
According to law enforcement officers, on Saturday, December 4, the parents of 9-year-old Artur Vasilishin turned to the police … They reported that the boy left the territory of their yard and disappeared.
The search for the boy lasted all night. The alarm was raised by police officers of local district offices. In addition, dog handlers, juvenile police officers, operatives of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Regional Regional Police Directorate took part in the search work.
Law enforcement officers and rescuers, local residents and volunteers helped.

Unfortunately, on Sunday, December 5, at about 9.00 am, the body of a child was found in the Kodyma River on the territory of Krivoy Lake.
The police are now investigating the circumstances of the boy's death. The investigation is carried out under Art. 115 (Intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
– On this fact, the investigators began criminal proceedings under Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, as required by the procedure in such cases, the police said.
The boy's body will be sent for a forensic medical examination, during which the final cause of death will be established.
