Sweden and Finland have closed their airspace for the plane, which the head of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin was returning from Nicaragua and Cuba to Moscow. Earlier, the State Duma supported the recognition of the self-proclaimed LDNR, which was the reason for solving the war with Ukraine.

The head of the Russian parliament himself announced this case in his Telegram channel, posting a map of his flight.

According to him, due to the closed sky over Sweden and Finland, the special aircraft with the Russian delegation made a forced detour, flying around the Scandinavian Peninsula from the north. The flight lasted 2.5 hours longer than planned, there was barely enough fuel.
