The Security Service of Ukraine eliminated a large-scale corruption scheme in the State Emergency Service. This endangered the lives of thousands of citizens of our country.
The attackers systematically received bribes from entrepreneurs for coordinating permits. This was reported in the Security Service of Ukraine.
What is known about the large-scale corruption scheme in the State Emergency Service
The participants in the criminal scheme were officials of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and heads of its regional divisions, including departments in the following regions:
- Dnipropetrovsk;
- Kharkiv;
- ;
- Kirovograd;
- Rivne;
- Lviv;
- Chernigov;
- Volyn;
- Chernivtsi;
- Khmelnitsky;
- Zaporozhye.
In addition, officials of other state institutions became participants in the criminal scheme, involving private persons.
Thus, officials of the State Emergency Service demanded bribes from the heads of large shopping centers and companies for the accelerated approval of permits necessary for doing business.
Previously, the “scheme” concerned the approval of plans for the localization and elimination of emergencies and accidents at potentially dangerous objects, in particular large shopping centers, gas stations and other objects.
For the bribe received, the State Emergency Service officials did not carry out an actual fire safety check in public places, some of which turned out to be unable to ensure the protection of citizens at the time of emergencies. In particular, during the liquidation of the consequences of Russian shelling. Thus, they endangered the life and health of the citizens of Ukraine, the law enforcers noted.
The monthly “income” of the perpetrators amounted to more than 10 million hryvnias.< /p>

What threatens attackers
Basically, dozens of State Emergency Service officials who took bribes were exposed throughout Ukraine. Suspicion was reported to 6 persons of the criminal group under two articles:
- accepting an offer, promise or receiving an illegal benefit by an official;
- offering, promising or providing an illegal benefit to an official.< /li>
The pre-trial investigation is currently ongoing. All members of the criminal group will be prosecuted.
In Melitopol, the FSB detained a collaborator on a bribe
In Melitopol, a collaborator was detained on a bribe. And this was done by the FSB officers, who actively control the local “authority”.
We are talking about Sergeant Sheludko. He was literally “hot” caught by the FSB. Note that the pseudo-head of the police, Zhidkov, does not comment on this situation. But it's not surprising, because he doesn't have a very good reputation either.
Note that the sheludko has already been detained for bribery. So, on March 18, 2019, he was a policeman of the Melitopol city police department. And then he was also caught for the corresponding crime.
Let's add that the trial has not ended and is still ongoing. But this did not confuse the invaders at all. And there is nothing surprising here, because they are exactly the same. And no one excludes that the FSB took up the husk just because he did not share it.
