Director of the Association of Professional Users of Social Networks and Messengers Vladimir Zykov told the Russians what the adoption of the new WhatsApp rules is fraught with.
It is reported that the introduction of the new WhatsApp rules is due to Facebook's intentions to make the most money from the company's customer data. At the same time, the specialist noted that users may lose the ability to restore their account if they restrict access to the application.
“ Changes in other messengers should not be expected. The fact is that Facebook itself strives to monetize all its data to the maximum. They initially provide their services free of charge … Moreover, the main product in this system is the user himself. Facebook sells it as a product for advertisers, ” Zykov said.
The expert believes that most of the users will agree with the new WhatsApp privacy rules. Other messengers, according to Zykov, will not follow the example of WhatsApp.
