You can quickly free up a lot of space on your smartphone by working with the settings of the two popular messengers WhatsApp and Telegram, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes.
This is not difficult to do. In the Telegram application, you need to select “Settings” in the menu, then “Data and memory”, and then the item “Memory usage”. After clicking on it, the phone will calculate how many GB are occupied by everything that you sent or sent you. When you click on “clear Telegram cache” all photos, videos, files from all chats will be automatically deleted. If you need to leave something, just uncheck the checkbox.
In WhatsApp, you also need to go to the settings, then select “Data and Storage”. After clicking on this section, the messenger will show the chats with the most data. It is necessary to decide whether they are needed, and then delete.
