Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Virology, Faculty of Biology, Moscow State University, Alexei Agranovsky, in an interview with Sputnik radio, said that the omicron strain of coronavirus may not cause symptoms of COVID-19 in an infected person.

“This was the case with the Wuhan zero strain, and with others – some people do not show symptoms of a viral infection, but it develops in the body,” he said.
