In Russia, villagers can receive a 25 percent increase in their pensions, the Pension Fund (PFR) recalled. This is stated in a publication on the PFR page in VKontakte.
“For residents of the village, there is additional support in the form of an increased fixed payment to the pension. The recalculation takes place automatically, you do not need to contact the FIU, ”the fund said.
In order for Russians to receive a bonus of 25 percent, it is necessary to have at least 30 years of experience in agriculture, live in rural areas, and also be a non-working pensioner. When calculating the total length of service, work on collective farms, state farms and other agricultural enterprises and organizations is taken into account. In total, the list includes more than 500 professions.
However, the FIU noted that work that was carried out before 1992 is included in the rural experience, regardless of the name of the position held, specialty or profession.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to raise pensions above the inflation rate. He added that so far, the country's authorities have succeeded.
