Four simple exercises can help you cope with hypertension. The British newspaper Daily Express writes about this, citing data from a study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology.
According to scientists, walking, running, cycling and swimming are best at fighting high blood pressure.
According to the study, people with hypertension “are advised to engage in moderate-intensity aerobic exercise for at least 30 minutes, such as walking, jogging, cycling or swimming, 5-7 days a week for at least 150 minutes a week.”
In addition, the authors of the scientific article advise changing dietary habits: reduce salt, caffeine and alcohol intake, quit smoking and get rid of excess weight.
Earlier, scientists from the American Heart Association reported that pistachios may help fight hypertension. experts came to the conclusion that thanks to pistachios, it was possible to significantly reduce the total peripheral resistance.
