OneTwoTrip: Russians can extend holidays in 2022 to 47 days with the help of holidays

Tourism industry experts have named a way for Russians to turn 19 days of vacation into a month and a half in 2022 – for this, it is necessary to properly manage the weekends dedicated to public holidays. This was reported in a study of the OneTwoTrip online travel planning platform, which was received by the editors of Lenta.ru.
According to analysts, if you take an additional vacation and add an adjacent weekend, then the holidays in 2022 will last 47 days. “Combining a vacation and a holiday weekend this year, you can spend from five to 15 days on vacation, which means there will be enough time for full-fledged travel,” said Elena Shelekhova, head of the press service of the service.
So, compatriots were told about the opportunity to relax at the end of February. Since Defender of the Fatherland Day in 2022 falls on Wednesday, and the official weekend does not stretch for three days as in 2021, you can arrange a mini-vacation by taking two days before and two after the holiday. Thus, the total duration of the weekend will be five days.
In addition, experts recommended that the Russians add three working days to the March 8 holiday (from 9 to 11) in order to increase the weekend to eight days. The May holidays in 2022 are separated by three working days (May 4-6) – if you take a vacation for this time, as well as from May 11 to 13, then the rest will be 16 days.
In June, you can plan a nine-day trip: Russia Day falls on Sunday, the day off is moved to Monday, and if you add June 14-17, you get a full vacation. In November, there is also the opportunity to relax for up to nine days – for this, it is enough to add four days off to the celebration of National Unity Day (from October 31 to November 3).
Earlier, experts revealed to the Russians the best time for a vacation in 2022 – the most profitable time to do this will be in August, March, September and December. So, according to experts, the fewer holidays in a month, the more money you can get.
