The coach of the Russian national ski team, Yuri Borodavko, compared the scandals of Alexander Bolshunov with the Norwegian Johannes Klebo and the Finn Yoni Mäki. His words are quoted by “Soviet Sport”.
Wartko stressed that the situations are very similar, and Bolshunov learned a lesson from what happened at the World Cup in Lahti. “Alexander then received a disqualification, there were a lot of emotions. Now he did everything clearly – he controlled the outer radius, did not let Klebo catch up with him, blocked it earlier, ”the specialist explained.
