Next year, the Russian armed forces will receive a new K-4386 ZA-SPN airborne cargo-passenger armored vehicle. It has increased security and maneuverability, said Igor Zarakhovich, chief designer of the Remdizel development enterprise.
The armored car was presented at the Army forum in Kubinka near Moscow. Mr. Zakharov told RIA Novosti that in 2022 preliminary tests of these machines will end and their production for the Ministry of Defense will begin.
The main feature of an armored car is the ability to land. Its carrying capacity is about 3 tons, it can carry up to five people. The salon is equipped with air conditioning. The K-4386 ZA-SPN also has the highest level of mine and ballistic protection, speed (142 km / h) and maneuverability of all armored cars presented at the forum, the developer claims.
The Army forum also presented the S-8L guided missile developed by Kalashnikov, which can be used with unmanned aerial vehicles, and a prototype of the PPK-20 submachine gun.
