“Early in the morning of June 12, in the border village of Lyubechany, Russian servicemen opened fire on a Volkswagen Passat with Russian license plates,” ASTRA sources reported. “The incident occurred at a checkpoint where the car did not stop. As a result of the shooting, two civilians in the car were hospitalized with various injuries.”
