Moscow. August 7. INTERFAX.RU – Russian military personnel, in preparation for the Russian-Chinese exercise “Sibu / Interaction-2021”, have mastered the basics of managing and operating a medium wheeled tank and armored vehicles of the People's Liberation Army of China, the Eastern Military District (VVO) reported.
The training took place at the Qingtongxia combat training base in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of the PRC. Upon completion of the theoretical training course and training on simulators, the Russian crews consolidated their knowledge and skills in the course of practical driving of Chinese military equipment. The trainings took place both separately and as part of units, the BBO reported.
As previously reported, the Sibu / Interaction-2021 joint strategic Sino-Russian exercise will take place from August 9 to 13 this year at the Qintongxia training ground. About 13 thousand servicemen will take part in it, over 400 units of weapons and military equipment will be involved.
