The head of the Kaliningrad region of Russia believes that under the influence of Kant’s philosophy, the West "has long violated all agreements".

Governor of the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov, speaking at a congress of political scientists, named the German philosopher Immanuel Kant, who was born in Konigsberg (present-day Kaliningrad) at the beginning of the 18th century, as the direct culprit of the war in Ukraine.

Russian propaganda media reported this.

“Kant, born here, has almost a direct connection with the global chaos, the global reorganization that we are now facing. Moreover, it is directly related to the military conflict in Ukraine,” said Alikhanov.

The Russian governor motivated his “deep” thought by the fact that Kant laid the foundation for German classical philosophy , “pumped up” the German will, while simultaneously cutting it off from the “highest values.” Like, this is why the modern socio-cultural situation arose in the West.

Alikhanov believes that under the influence of Kant’s philosophy, the West “has long violated all agreements.”

“When you constantly live and work in the Kaliningrad region, it is impossible not to think about world politics and international relations,” the governor clarified the reasons for his unexpected “analytical” conclusion.

We recall that earlier the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kaliningrad created everyday inconvenience for students of the Baltic Federal University, with whom the leader of the aggressor state planned a meeting. A strict control regime was introduced on the territory of student dormitories due to the arrival of the owner of the Kremlin.
