The Russian government will control the speed of Internet traffic in schools
In 2021, a monitoring system will be introduced to control traffic speed and other Internet indicators in Russian schools. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko, reports TASS.
“We are introducing a monitoring system that will allow us to control the traffic speed and other parameters of social facilities connected to the Internet. The system will be put into operation this year, ”the Deputy Prime Minister said.
Also, by the end of 2021, the Internet will be introduced to all Russian schools. There are 10,733 educational institutions that do not yet have access to the worldwide network. And by 2024 it is planned to provide all the necessary IT infrastructure to all educational institutions in Russia – these are 39,319 schools in 84 regions.
We will remind, in December 2020 in the schools near Moscow completed tests of the Russian analogue of Zoom – “Spherum”. And recently it became known that Moscow schoolchildren will be able to take online training on the Digital Tutor platform.
