The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the dispatch of US troops to Poland. She wrote about this in her Telegram channel.
She praised the actions of the White House as “a revealing hysteria as never before.” “The Anglo-Saxons need a war. At any price. Provocations, disinformation and threats are a favorite method of solving one's own problems. The skating rink of the American military-political machine is ready to go through the lives of people again, ”the diplomat said.
The representative of the Foreign Ministry also noted that now “the world is watching how militarism and imperial ambitions expose themselves.”
Earlier, Zakharova said that Western countries deliberately invented a threat in the form of Russian aggression in order to purposefully present Russia as an enemy and fight it. “Time passes, Russia does not attack Ukraine. The calculation of the United States who ordered this “music” and the British who joined them is understandable: they themselves invented the Russian threat, they themselves gathered for a “heroic” fight against it, in order to then commit a provocation and loudly announce their “victory,” the diplomat said.
On February 7, a representative of the Foreign Ministry spoke about the “disservice” that NATO rendered to Ukraine. She noted the actions of the EU, which contributes to the entry of Kiev into the association's zone of influence.
