Russia began to transfer combat helicopters to the airport area of temporarily occupied Mariupol (Donetsk region) after the explosions in Taganrog.
Such data was voiced by Advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol Pyotr Andryushchenko, who released a video with Russian helicopters.
“After the explosions and fire at the Taganrog airport, the Russians partially and temporarily relocated some of their combat helicopters to the area of the Mariupol airport,” he noted.

On Tuesday, November 7, in the Russian city of Taganrog (Rostov region), powerful explosions occurred near the airport. Eyewitnesses claimed that “houses, windows, and the ground shook.”

Pyotr Andryushchenko, citing sources, noted that after the “Bavovna” Russian helicopters were on fire at the airfield.
According to him, the occupiers systematically use the airfield in Taganrog to base both helicopter units and air defense systems and equipment before transferring them to Ukraine.
