Danilov assumes that Putin will want to "protect" newly minted Russian citizens in Moldova and Kazakhstan.
The decision of dictator Putin to simplify the acquisition of Russian citizenship for citizens of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Moldova actually indicates that , that the Kremlin has actually announced war with these countries.
This opinion was expressed by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov on air of the telethon.
According to him, the prevailing mood in Russia now is that, supposedly, they everything worked out and they win.
“They (Russians. – Ed.) continue to declare war on the following countries… So that you and I understand, on December 18, Putin signed decree 962, which actually declares war on Kazakhstan, declares war on Moldova, well and finishes dealing with Belarus,” says the NSDC Secretary.
Danilov assumes that after this decree Putin will want to “protect” newly minted Russian citizens, as was already the case in Donbass and Crimea.
“When Putin says that all citizens of these countries can receive passports of the Russian Federation and, accordingly, after this procedure, as happened in Crimea or in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, they will say that they are going to protect citizens who communicate in Russian and who have Russian passports,” summed up the NSDC Secretary.
Previously, international researchers described how in the occupied territories Ukrainians are forced to take a Russian passport. In particular, the invaders threaten Ukrainians with deportation and arrest.
