The Russian Embassy in Germany called the “invasion plan for Ukraine”, which was published by the German newspaper Bild, “a strange mixture of speculation and rumors” and refused to comment on it in any way.

The material of the publication, which was published on February 5, tells about the alleged “official plans of the Russian leadership for a full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the establishment of a puppet government.”

According to Moscow’s “plans”, after the defeat of the Ukrainian army, Russia should intensify the activities of intelligence cells and groups in the country that will contribute to the creation of a new “People’s Rada”. It is this government body that should announce the capitulation and illegitimacy of the authorities operating in Kiev, the German newspaper writes.

The result of such a plan should be the entry of Ukraine into the Union State, the holding of a referendum on joining Russia and the creation of a system of camps for dissenting residents of the puppet state, the author of the material believes.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that Moscow is not going to attack anyone. He stressed that the country needs good-neighborly relations with Ukraine and with the “fraternal Ukrainian people.”

Antonov also called the accusations of Western countries against Russia blasphemy. According to him, they are directed against Moscow as part of an unofficial information war. As the main priority of the West, Antonov called providing a reason for the operations of the Ukrainian army against Donbass.
