A Russian tourist traveled to Sochi and compared the food at a local hotel with a buffet at the Sharm el-Sheikh hotel, where he rested for the last time. He shared his findings on his personal blog on Yandex.Zen.
As the author of the blog said, he liked the domestic buffet more than the Egyptian one. “I am glad that we can do it the same way as abroad. Even better,” he said. First of all, the man noted a large selection of healthy dishes, after which, however, he quickly became hungry. “During the rest, I lost four kilograms, and this despite the fact that they ate, as they say, to satiety,” he explained.
In addition, the Russian noticed that the chefs tried to please guests with different food preferences. For breakfast, guests were offered pancakes, pancakes, cereals, cottage cheese, fruit and berry puddings, dumplings and sausages. From drinks – tea and coffee from the coffee machine.
For lunch and dinner, there were three or two soups to choose from, many side dishes, salads, several types of meat and fish. “Fast food was not seen at all. That is, hamburgers, hot dogs, and french fries beloved by children cannot be found on the table, ”the tourist specified.
Also, the blogger was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness at the buffet and remembered how in Egypt he often saw unwiped tables and glasses with dirty stains. At the same time, the author listed several nuances of Russian buffets that lose to Egyptian ones. Among them, he named a small selection of pastries and fruits.
Earlier in January, Egypt changed the rules for entering the country, tightening controls on tourists with dubious coronavirus tests. When arriving at the resorts, the traveler must present a vaccination certificate or a negative coronavirus test result taken no later than 72 hours before arrival. Those whose documents are questionable by the Egyptian authorities will be subjected to rapid antigen testing.
