The government will allocate an additional 7 billion rubles. on the production of “state content, including those aimed at the formation of civic identity and spiritual and moral values among young people.” Earlier, 3 billion rubles were pledged for these purposes. The ANO Internet Development Institute will receive the corresponding amount from the Government's Reserve Fund.

According to RBC, the Institute will distribute the allocated funds at a competition. The general director of the institution, Anton Klyuchkin, said that Gazprom-Media, the National Media Group VGTRK, Channel One, RT and Yandex may be interested in the competition. Also, according to him, it is planned to interact with independent producers and agencies.

“The industry certainly needs such support. But the artistic language in which modern content is now speaking – on positive topics, on pro-government topics – and the audience for which this content is made do not always coincide with the understanding of those who distribute money, “said the founder of the Association of Web Producers -Content, founder of the web-cinema Chill Anton Kalinkin.

The rules of the competition will be approved by the already existing supervisory board, which is headed by the deputy head of the presidential administration, Sergei Kiriyenko. The project will be implemented by the producer council. Vyacheslav Murugov, deputy general director of the National Media Group for entertainment broadcasting, was appointed its chairman.
