As it became known, in 2023 the Russian army will receive a strike drone of a new type “Sirius”. It is noted that this device is a continuation of the Orion line of attack drones, which have another name – “Pacing”.
“Sirius”, which, in turn, is called “pacer-RU”, differs from its predecessor in a larger payload, takeoff weight and two engines.
The device was manufactured by the Russian company Kronshtadt, which signed an agreement with the Ministry of Defense at the Army-2021 forum. “We expect the delivery of these machines starting in 2023,” said Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko.
