Peggy McSwin, who lives on the islands near Scotland, was tinkering in the garden 50 years ago and lost her wedding ring. The woman tried to find him, but to no avail. All these years she regretted the lost symbol of love, but no longer hoped that this wedding ring would ever return to her.
Having learned this story, her neighbor decided to find the wedding ring with the help of a metal detector. The man dug 90 holes – he found pieces of old metal, cans, etc.
After three days of searching the area for the ring, 86-year-old Mrs. McSwin was found.
“The neighbor just went to the door and said: “I want to show you something.” It was my ring. I could not believe it. I thought I would never see it again, ”the woman says.

Mrs. Maxwin married her husband John in July 1958, he died a few years ago. The couple lived in a happy marriage, and after losing her ring, the woman wore her mother's ring.
