This was stated on Thursday, March 14, by the head of diplomacy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, Sky News reports.
During his visit to Washington, he emphasized that Ukraine cannot wait for the results of the US presidential election this November, and called for continued assistance to Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression amid doubts that US support will be renewed.
The publication recalled that military analysts expect a large Russian offensive this summer.
Recall that CIA Director William Burns said during a hearing in the US House of Representatives that the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine will depend on American assistance.
