The representative of the Gamaleya Center did not rule out the appearance of Moscow strains of coronavirus

The deputy director of the Gamaleya Center, Denis Logunov, told President Vladimir Putin that there may be Moscow strains of coronavirus in Moscow. The President said that he had discussed this topic.

“And most importantly, Moscow may still have its own Moscow strains,” said Mr. Logunov after the State Prize ceremony in the Kremlin. “Well yes. Yesterday we just talked about this, ”said Mr Putin (quoted by RIA Novosti).

Indian, British and South African strains of the coronavirus are now known.

Recall that over the past day, 13,510 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Russia. This is the maximum number since February 15th. The daily growth was 8.04% more than the day before (12,505).
