The 19th regatta on ships made from milk bags took place in the city of Jelgava, 42 kilometers from Riga. A video from an unusual race in the water area of the Lielupe River has been published on the Ruptly portal.
The footage shows how the participants of the regatta on various ships built from used milk cartons compete with each other. It is worth noting that according to the rules of the race, ships must move only with the help of human strength. Creativity is also appreciated in the selection of costumes and decorations for their boats.
It is known that the first such regatta in Latvia took place in 2002.
