Ukraine ranked 66th in terms of living standards among 83 countries.
The ranking of countries by quality of life has been published. In the first half of 2024, Luxembourg became the leader in the quality of life ranking, while Nigeria took the last place among 83 countries.
This is evidenced by the annual quality of life ranking among countries of the international project Numbeo.
Top 10 countries by quality of life
1st place: Luxembourg – high indicators of purchasing power, safety and quality of healthcare;
2nd place: Netherlands – strong economy and high standard of living;
3rd place: Denmark – has excellent social support and safety;
4th place: Oman – high level security and purchasing power;
5th place: Switzerland – known for stability and an excellent healthcare system;
6th place: Finland – strong social protection and quality of life;
7th place: Iceland – stable economy and social support;
8th place: Austria – a combination of security, health and economic stability;
9th place: Norway – high standard of living and social protection;
10th place: Sweden – stable economy and high standard of living.
Ukraine ranked 66th in terms of standard of living among 83 countries. Our country has a stable, but lower standard of living compared to European countries.
Interestingly, in 2020, Ukraine ranked 65th in terms of quality of life. That is, a full-scale invasion did not entail a sharp drop in the country's ranking. According to the estimates, there has also been some improvement, particularly in the area of healthcare.
At the same time, Russia and Belarus are higher in the rankings, occupying 65th and 52nd places, respectively.
Analysts assess countries by climate, pollution, purchasing power, housing prices, cost of living, and sometimes the road to work.
Recall that Ukraine has risen the highest in the past decade in the ranking of the strongest passports, taking 30th place.
