This was the first visit of the head of the Ukrainian government to South America since the beginning of Russian aggression against his country.

Vladimir Zelensky flew to the inauguration of the new head of Argentina to talk with several heads of state of South America about holding the upcoming Ukraine-Latin America summit. The goal is to test the Kyiv “peace formula” and end the Russian war against Ukraine.

Spiegel writes about this.

Among other things, this plan involves the immediate withdrawal of all Russian troops from the occupied territories, including Crimea. The Ukrainian peace plan also provides for legal liability of Russian politicians and military personnel for the aggressive war.

This was the first visit of the head of the Ukrainian government to South America since the beginning of Russian aggression against his country. Zelensky also met with his colleagues from Paraguay Santiago Pena, Ecuador Daniel Noboa and Uruguay Luis Alberto Lacalle Pou.
