This year, ASUS released two smartphones in the Zenfone series – the standard and compact Zenfone 8, as well as the Zenfone 8 Flip with a PTZ camera. DxOMark experts have evaluated the second model.
The Zenfone 8 Flip rotary module has a 64 megapixel main image sensor, 12 megapixel ultra-wide, and an 8 megapixel telephoto camera. This camera system can be used both as frontal and as the main one. The smartphone can shoot video at 8K / 30 fps and 4K / 60 fps.
ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip scored 118 points in total. For comparison: Apple iPhone 11 has a score of 119 points.
Among the advantages of the smartphone, experts called excellent color rendition in the pictures, good video detail.
