Psychiatrist Kostyuk: there are no side effects after vaccination for mental disorders

Georgy Kostyuk, chief freelance psychiatrist of the Moscow Department of Health, spoke about the absence of contraindications for vaccination for mental disorders, RIA Novosti reports.
According to Kostyuk, there are no contraindications and cannot be. “Moreover, we provide the opportunity to vaccinate patients with mental disorders who are in our hospital. We did not observe a single case of side effects, in rare cases there was local pain for several days after the injection, ”said Kostyuk.
The psychiatrist noted that patients are vaccinated voluntarily. Experts provide explanations, talk about the principles of the vaccine and the importance of vaccinations.
Earlier, the Russian virologist and corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Netesov called for the introduction of fines for Russians who refuse to be vaccinated against coronavirus. According to Netesov, only with the help of fines it is possible to get rid of “anti-axer sentiments.”
