The Prosecutor General's Office spent almost 500 thousand rubles on robotic vacuum cleaners

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation announced the purchase of 20 robotic vacuum cleaners. 498,740 rubles were allocated for their purchase, the cost of one gadget will be about 25,000 rubles. The department will use them as gifts. Devices are required to be able to carry out dry and wet cleaning, overcoming obstacles, cleaning on a schedule and the option to control the gadget from a smartphone.

According to the terms of reference, gift vacuum cleaners must have at least three cleaning modes (including dry and wet) on a schedule, have a capacious lithium-ion battery, be quiet and be able to get over thresholds and low obstacles. They should be equipped with side brushes and fine filters, controlled via a smartphone and connected via Wi-fi.

The purchase of gifts is carried out at the expense of the budget. Vacuum cleaners must be guaranteed for at least a year. Only two firms took part in the auction – the Podolsk firm “Professional” managed to win, which brought down the price by 2.5%. For eight years of operation, the company has received 422 government contracts worth more than 101.4 million rubles.

Earlier, “Secret” wrote that the enterprise controlled by the presidential administration decided to purchase condoms, cigarettes and lighters for 15 million rubles.
