Moscow. September 24. INTERFAX.RU – The General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation has recognized the activities of two Scientology organizations from the United States as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation, the press service of the department reports.
Based on the results of studying the received materials, the supervisory agency on Friday, September 24, recognized the following organizations as undesirable in the Russian Federation: World Institute of Scientology Enterprises International, WISE Int. (“World Institute of Scientology Enterprises”); Church of Spiritual Technology, CST, also known as L. Ron Hubbard Library, said in a statement from the oversight agency.
It has been established that the activities of these religious corporations pose a threat to the security of the Russian Federation, the Prosecutor General's Office explained.
“Information about the decision was sent to the Ministry of Justice of Russia to include information in the list of foreign and international non-governmental organizations, whose activities are recognized as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation, and their promulgation,” the Prosecutor General's Office concluded.
