The program for the protection of Ukrainians in the countries of the European Union will be extended until 2024

An important message for Ukrainians who are abroad because of the war. The temporary protection program for Ukrainians who left the country due to hostilities and moved to the EU has been extended

At least until March 2024, said Ylva Johansson, European Commissioner for Internal Affairs.

< p>“Temporary protection will be in effect until at least March 2024,” the European Commissioner said.

As of October 4, since the start of the war with Russia, about 4.3 million registrations have been made to receive temporary protection in the EU, of which 2.3 million applications were from women.
