President Latvia Edgars Rinkevičs expressed his opinion about Russia ending the war. So, there are specific factors that will force Vladimir Putin to stop.
Rinkevics said this in an interview with the Finnish publication Helsingin Sanomat.
There are three factors
According to the president , the first factor is theunderstanding that the West will continue to support Ukraineregardless of any particular turn of the war. “I think Putin understands that he is not the one to challenge the economic power of the United States, Canada and the European Union,” says Rinkēvičs.
The second factor is the production of weapons and ammunition. “We need to show that we are purposefully increasing our defense-industrial potential and producing all the grenades, ammunition, missiles, drones and tanks that Ukraine needs, while at the same time replenishing our own reserves,” notes the President of Latvia.
Third the factor is Ukraine’s progress at the front. “It must show Russia that all dreams of returning the territories liberated by Ukraine are useless,” explained the Latvian leader.
Judging by all of the above , he adds, Russia will be forced to rethink its strategy.
Earlier, the Latvian police warned that placing provocative inscriptions in Russian on cars such as “I am Russian” is unacceptable. That is why law enforcement will force them to be removed.
