Supporters of Chinese historian Jiang Xueqing, often referred to online as “China's Nostradamus,” are watching in amazement as his predictions for global politics in 2025 begin to take shape.

Jiang Xueqing's YouTube lecture last year, in which he predicted an escalation of tensions between the US and Iran if US President Donald Trump returns to power, attracted particular attention online. The video quickly went viral, and the historian's channel gained more than 100,000 new subscribers in just three days.
In his speeches, Xueqing detailed the possible implementation of Operation Freedom for Iran. The historian said that it envisages a large-scale invasion involving the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia and their allies.
As Xueqing believed, Trump would justify military action by the need to neutralize Iran's nuclear program and protect against attacks from proxy groups. The US president's recent public statements have indeed focused on terrorism and the nuclear threat, which closely matches the historian's warnings.
In addition, the “Chinese Nostradamus” expressed doubts about the effectiveness of a land invasion. He noted that to fully control Iran, the United States would need at least 3 million troops – a figure that the historian considers completely unrealistic from both a military and political point of view. According to Xueqing, an operation of such a scale would risk turning American soldiers into hostages in the hard-to-reach Iranian mountainous areas due to difficulties with supply and withdrawal of troops.
