The Russian national football team retained 34th place in the updated rating of the International Football Federation (FIFA). The team's position is named on the organization's website.
The Russian team has 1493 points. The first place in the ranking was kept by the Belgian national team (1828.45), the second place was taken by Brazil (1826.35), the top three were closed by the French team (1786.15).
The positions of all teams will not change at the end of 2021. The next version of the rating will be published on February 10, 2022.
Russia finished last year in 39th place in the list of the best national teams in the world. In 2021, the team was unable to qualify from the group at the European Championship and received the right to play in the play-off matches for reaching the final of the 2022 World Cup.
