The cost of the iPhone Xr has dropped to an all-time low. This is reported by the Hi-Tech Mail.ru edition with reference to retailers' online stores.
The cost of a smartphone presented in 2018 with a 64 gigabyte drive dropped to 43-44 thousand rubles. The journalists clarified that they are talking about iPhones sold in official retail – in stores and on the websites of Apple partners in Russia. At the same time, the authors noted that the cheapening of the popular gadget occurred against the background of the depreciation of the ruble.
According to the publication's catalog, in unofficial retail Xr has become even cheaper – from 41 thousand rubles. The specified model went on sale at the end of 2018, the basic version of the device was estimated at 65 thousand rubles. The smartphone has a 6.1-inch IPS-display, Apple A12 Bionic chip, three gigabytes of RAM, a single camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels.
The affordable iPhone Xr became the most sought-after smartphone in the global market in the third quarter of 2019. It accounted for about 3 percent of sales.
