The plane of the special flight unit (SLO) “Russia” took off from the Moscow Vnukovo airport and headed towards Kazakhstan. This was announced on Wednesday, January 5, by the Military Observer Telegram channel.

We are talking about the Tu-214, which is supposedly heading to Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan. The plane has already crossed the border.

Earlier on Wednesday, it became known that against the background of protests from Kazakhstan, business jets began to fly en masse towards Europe.

Protests in Kazakhstan began on Sunday, January 2, due to an increase in gas prices for cars from 60 to 120 tenge (from 10 to 20 rubles) per liter. On January 4, clashes between protesters and security forces began. In Alma-Ata, those dissatisfied with the policy of the Kazakh authorities confiscated firearms, batons and shields from law enforcement officers, after which they began to gather in the city center. Television, internet and mobile communications do not work in the city.
