Because of the powerful < strong>floods, covering the southern Philippines, killed at least 13 people. Currently, rescuers are looking for 23 more people who are considered missing.

Most of the deaths were caused by drowning in flash floods after two days of heavy rain disrupted Christmas celebrations and forced more than 45,000 people to evacuate to shelter centers.

The Coast Guard also said strong winds and large waves sank a fishing boat on Christmas Day off the coast of central Leyte Island. Two crew members died, six more were rescued.

Recall that a snow storm derailed a truck in Canada train. As a result of the accident, passenger traffic between the largest cities of the country was stopped. The snowfall caused a massive accident involving 100 vehicles.
The United States of America was also gripped by one of the strongest storms in recent years, bringing heavy snow and frost. The storm has killed at least 16 people.
In Japan, heavy snowfall killed 17 people, injured at least 93, and left hundreds of homes without electricity.
