The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) said that they analyzed the samples taken from Alexei Navalny. RIA Novosti reports.

“The results of the analysis of Navalny's biomedical samples are being prepared and will be handed over to the German authorities,” the agency quoted the organization as saying.

The fact that representatives of the OPCW visited the Charite clinic, where Navalny is being treated, and took a blood test from him, became known on 11 September. It is noted that this was done at the special request of the FRG government.

Earlier it was reported that two independent laboratories in France and Sweden re-analyzed the samples of Alexei Navalny and confirmed the presence of a toxic substance of the Novichok group there. After that, Germany again called on Russia to provide explanations about the events around Navalny.

Navalny became ill on August 20 during a flight from Tomsk to Moscow. In the first two days, doctors from the Omsk hospital helped him. They also introduced him to an artificial coma. On August 22, the patient was sent to a clinic in Berlin.

On September 2, the German government announced that military toxicologists had found traces of a substance from the Novichok group in Navalny's body and called on the Russian government to respond to this information. Russian doctors say that no poisons were found in the patient's analyzes. On September 10, it became known that Navalny had completely recovered.
