The Chinese plan is not about peace.
Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak provided arguments against China's “peace plan”. According to him, this is the defeat of Ukraine and the freezing of the war.
Podolyak stated this on the air of the telethon.
China's “peace” plan contains points that contradict each other. The PRC does not seek to end Russia's war against Ukraine peacefully. Instead, it can drag out the war and lead to the defeat of Ukraine.
“You can’t say that it will be peace if one side must lose. It’s not about peace. Out of 12 points, two contradict each other,” Podolyak said.
One of these paragraphs refers to the inviolability and territorial integrity of the country and its sovereignty. And the rest – about the need to immediately cease fire.
“This will mean a new line of demarcation and fixing the status quo in the occupied territories behind Russia,” Podolyak said.
According to the adviser, you need to call a spade a spade. Because, in essence, this will mean a loss for Ukraine and a victory for Russia, given that it will not stop the attacks.
“It will be a frozen war, with constant provocations, with a large number of Russian terrorist actions on our territory, with the absolute demoralization of Ukrainians and our partners. That is, in 3-4 years we will lose statehood, this is an absolutely impossible scenario,” Mykhailo Podolyak added.
We add that Ukrainian political scientists believe that the provision of lethal weapons to Russia by China will be the beginning of the Third World War. So Beijing doesn't want that.
