The Kh-101 cruise missile has fallen in Kalmykia for the second time.
Russian aviation has again lost a missile on its territory. This time in Kalmykia. Fragments of an X-101 cruise missile with a warhead were found there.
This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel Astra, which positions itself as opposed to the government.
“Fragments of an X-101 cruise missile with a warhead were found in the steppe several kilometers from the village of Pervomaysky in Kalmykia. There were no casualties,” ASTRA writes, citing its own sources.
According to the Telegram channel, the X-101 cruise missile has already fallen in Kalmykia for the second time. The first such incident occurred on February 1, 2023.
The public reminds that in early July, in the steppe near the village of Solenoye, which is approximately 180 kilometers from Elista, a fallen cruise missile exploded. At that time, Russian police reported that it was a 3M14 Kalibr missile.
“A two-meter crater remained at the site of the explosion, with fragments scattered around. Apparently, the missile was faulty. There were no destructions or casualties,” the report said.
Recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the GUR attacks deep into Russia.
