Russian occupiers continue to use “barrage” detachments. This is done in order to stop the flight of their units from the battlefield.
As a result of the actions of Ukrainian defenders, among the personnel of the occupying forces, there is an increase in panic and unwillingness to participate in the war. This was reported in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Russia uses “barrage” detachments
The situation is aggravated due to untimely and incomplete payments of the promised financial support. Many military men, whose only motivation was the very material support, are looking for an opportunity either to return to Russian territory or to surrender.
The invaders, who have withdrawn from the Izyum direction to the Donetsk region, are waiting for the delivery of ammunition and fuel. During the retreat, the units used up or were forced to abandon almost all weapons and equipment. The invaders complain that the promised help never arrived.
Units of the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army of Russia (military unit 12721) suffered heavy losses during the retreat from Izyum and Balakleya. In some companies, about half of the personnel remained. The survivors intend to move towards the Russian border in order to return home, the intelligence noted.
Many invaders have concentrated near the Russian border in the Belgorod region. They have no connection with the command, there are no supplies of food and ammunition.
In order to stop the mass flight from the battlefield, the Kremlin command is stepping up the use of “proven” Soviet “persuasion” methods.
From the intercepted conversations of the occupiers, it became known that the rear of the so-called “protective” detachments had been established. In particular, the commanders of the 4th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 2nd Army Corps received a message:
“A barrage detachment has been set up in the rear zone. All retreating troops will be destroyed. Commander's order number 222. Bring them to all posts.”
Occupiers urgently evacuate their families from the South and Crimea

Despite the assurance of the population of the safety of staying on the peninsula, representatives of the occupation administration of Crimea, FSB officers and commanders of some military units, secretly from their subordinates, are trying to sell their homes and urgently take them out relatives from the peninsula.
At the same time, the occupiers banned the conclusion of agreements on the sale of housing, established restrictions on movement along the Crimean bridge and are trying in every possible way to block access to information about the counter-offensive actions of the defenders of Ukraine.
