Nutritionist Kruglova: mayonnaise and other foods with excess fat are the most dangerous for the figure

The most dangerous New Year's products for the figure include those containing excess fats, in particular – mayonnaise, which is added to dishes in large quantities. Nutritionist Natalya Kruglova said this in a conversation with Lenta.ru.
“Plus, these are foods that contain simple sugars, carbohydrates, some sweet foods – this will also contribute to weight gain. And it is worth remembering about sausages – something that contains fats, and mostly saturated, therefore, with a large amount, they will contribute to weight gain. But they get better not from one product, but from the saturation of the diet, ”explained Kruglova.
At the same time, she noted that if a person has a rich diet on New Year's holidays, this can lead to weight gain, but this will not happen from overeating on New Year's Eve.
“If a person overeats once a year on the night of January 1, it doesn't really matter in terms of weight gain. Because the food that a person has on ordinary days is more important. If it starts from mid-December and lasts until mid-January, then, of course, weight gain can be quite significant, ”added the nutritionist.
Earlier, Kruglova said that mayonnaise in salads can be replaced with less fatty dressings, for example, Greek yogurt or low-fat sour cream. She added that vegetable oils, balsamic vinegar and lemon juice can also be used as a dressing, adding spices depending on the desired taste of the dish.
