Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov said that the number of military territorial defense decided to increase to 2 million people.
“Today, at a meeting in Kharkov, the commander-in-chief set the task: the number of members of the territorial defense should reach 2 million citizens of Ukraine who will be ready to defend our country if necessary,” Danilov said during a briefing on February 11.
Recall that today's meeting of the National Security and Defense Council was decided to be held in Kharkiv, since this city is located in the border zone.

At the last meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, held on January 24, national security measures from internal and external threats, countering the pandemic, and the situation in the economy and energy were considered.
