The head of the British Foreign Office, David Cameron, is going on a visit to the United States , where he will convince lawmakers to increase aid to Ukraine.
This is stated in a report by Reuters .
He said that there is now a debate in US political circles about helping the Ukrainians. However, he expressed confidence that the arguments “in favor of the fact that European security is American security will prevail.”
“I want to assure them that we will stay the course and mobilize other allies too,” the diplomat said.
Cameron said that the economic potential of NATO countries allows Ukraine to provide all the necessary assistance, but so far this has not been used.
“Put together all the economies of the countries that support Ukraine in the fight against Russia, and we will turn over (Russia – ed.) in a ratio of thirty to one,” added the British Foreign Secretary.
