The neurologist gave tips to help you fall asleep better
Neurologist-somnologist Elena Tsareva gave advice to Russians that can help them fall asleep better, writes “Moscow 24”.
She recalled that a feeling of anxiety, thoughts about the past or the future, and re-living unpleasant situations interfere with rest. Tsareva advised to transfer all experiences to the daytime, and if there is no time for this during the day, then the problem is not so great.
The doctor noted that there is no need to lie in bed and force yourself to sleep, leading to stress. It is better to get out of bed for 15 minutes and then lie down again.
If restless legs syndrome occurs when falling asleep, then it is worth limiting the intake of caffeine, which contributes to the manifestation of cramps and uncontrolled leg movements.
In addition, before going to bed, you should not use gadgets; it is better to fall asleep in a calm environment without unnecessary irritants.
Earlier, scientists from Tambov State University reported that 40% of high school students have serious sleep disorders.
There have also been studies of the brains of people who regularly consume coffee.
