Citizens of the Netherlands who are currently in Ukraine must immediately leave the country. Ambassador of the Netherlands in Kiev Yennes de Mol urged fellow citizens to do this, BNR News reports.

The diplomat said that the relevant instructions came from The Hague. He stressed that this is not about evacuation, but about a voluntary choice to leave the country due to a security threat.

The ambassador said that an emergency center under the flag of the Netherlands would be created in Lviv in western Ukraine. “The Dutch may come there for emergency documents or information,” he added.

Earlier it became known that Japan called on its citizens to immediately leave the territory of Ukraine. On February 11, the country's Foreign Ministry raised the level of threat of being on the territory of Ukraine to the fourth, maximum. The Foreign Ministry explained this decision by the continuing increase in tension on the Ukrainian-Russian border.
