Dutch citizens who are afraid to get vaccinated against coronavirus, but are determined to get vaccinated, were offered to get vaccinated in virtual reality glasses. This initiative was launched by the country's Minister of Health, Hugo de Jonge, on Twitter.

“Are you afraid to give injections, but still want to be vaccinated or revaccinated? The Municipal Health Services (GGD) are happy to help you with this, ”said the head of the Dutch Ministry of Health. According to him, VR-glasses will help to relax during the vaccination process. The politician clarified that more and more places are working with such methods, in particular, in Rotterdam.

Earlier it became known that the number of vaccinations made in the world against COVID-19 reached 8.95 billion. According to Bloomberg, on average, people in the world receive 43.4 million doses of vaccines against coronavirus infection per day. It is assumed that if this rate continues, then in five months, 75 percent of the world's inhabitants will receive at least one dose of the vaccine.
